Tortimer's Lighthouse Request[1] is a minor event in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. Tortimer goes on vacation and asks the player to turn on the lighthouse light each day between 6 PM and 10 PM.

Task[edit]

Twice a year in January and February for ten days, Tortimer can be seen at the wishing well. If spoken to, he will inform the player that he is going on a vacation on a tropical island starting the next day. He tasks the player with turning on the lighthouse light each day for a week between 6 PM and 10 PM when he is gone. The lighthouse light can be turned on by going through its back door, which is only accessible during the week that Tortimer is on vacation. Inside the lighthouse, the player must pull a switch that turns on the light. Tortimer will return after a week, and if the player successfully turned on the lighthouse light each night, he will thank them outside their house and reward them with a lighthouse model (in January) or chocolates (in February) as a souvenir from his vacation.
