Fresh Verdure Day (しんりょくのひ[nb 1] Shinryoku no Hi?) is a holiday exclusive to Doubutsu no Mori+ that occurs on April 29. Similar to other holidays introduced in that game, it corresponds to a real-world Japanese public holiday, namely Greenery Day.[nb 2]

From 10 AM to 6 PM on this day, Tortimer can be found by the shrine where he will give the player a tree model when spoken to.

In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+, the holiday was removed and replaced with Nature Day.

Notes

  1. Doubutsu no Mori+ uses solely kana; with kanji this would be rendered 新緑の日.
  2. At the time of the game's release in 2001, Greenery Day was held on April 29. However, in 2007 the Japanese government moved it to May 3 to separate it from Shōwa Day, now held on April 29.
