"Marine Song 2001" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is based on the tune Kapp'n sings in the original Japanese version of Animal Crossing, which was altered in all localized versions to a tune based more on western sea shanties. The number "2001" in the song's title alludes to the year that both Doubutsu no Mori and the Japanese version of Animal Crossing were released. The aircheck version is by far the longest of K.K. Slider's songs, as it continues without looping for nearly three and a half minutes.
