The Town Anniversary is an event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf which celebrates the day when the player has assumed office as mayor. When the player loads their save file, Isabelle invites them at their doorstep to the Event Plaza, where the celebration occurs. She gives the player a Sapling Clock.
Non-mayor players will receive a letter from Isabelle, with an attached Sapling Clock.
