"Drivin'" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf as a live-only performance, and with an aircheck version in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The song has a steady rhythm and an overall jazzy sound, giving the impression of driving through a city late at night (as suggested by its album art).

Album cover[edit]

The album cover for "Drivin'" is based on the typical art style used for albums released by famed American jazz label Blue Note Records, featuring a stylized limited-tone portrait of the artist against a black background; a pastiche of the Blue Note logo is additionally featured in the lower-right corner. K.K. Slider's right eye is also shown within one of the orange circles.

Appearances[edit]

In New Leaf[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, "Drivin'" can only be heard live if the player makes an invalid song request.

In New Horizons[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, "Drivin'" is a secret song that can only be heard and obtained by request, and it is played in the houses of Bea, Buzz, Dotty, Erik, Gwen, Keaton, Maggie, Pippy, and Sydney. The aircheck of this song can be obtained from one of these villagers after visiting their house by their favor.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, "Drivin'" is played in the houses of Chrissy, June, Paula, Sheldon, and Tasha.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, "Farewell" is song #93 and "Drivin'" is song #94; their places were switched in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
  • In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, when villagers sing "Drivin'" the syllables sung are different from when K.K. Slider performs it. Notably, the "oh" syllable is not used at all.
