Marine Day (known as Summer Day in Doubutsu no Mori+) is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs on July 20. It is only actually celebrated in Doubutsu no Mori+, but returns as a Nook Shopping seasonal event beginning in the 1.10.0 Free Update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Appearances[edit]
In Doubutsu no Mori+[edit]
In Doubutsu no Mori+, Marine Day is called Summer Day and is celebrated on July 20.[nb 1] Between 10 AM and 6 PM, the player can obtain a life ring from Tortimer. In Animal Crossing, the holiday was removed, and this item was changed to be obtainable from Animal Island.

Although Marine Day does not appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a standard event, it appears as a Nook Shopping seasonal event beginning in the 1.10.0 Free Update, for the first time being celebrated internationally. From July 8 to 22, the player can purchase a ship-wheel door decoration from Nook Shopping.
