The name "D&B" is short for drum and bass, a genre of electronic music popular in Britain during the 1990s. The song is based on 1990s jungle-style D&B, as opposed to more modern, electronic D&B. The bass in the song is played on a synthesizer, roughly resembling a reese bass, and a digital drum kit produces the percussion in a breakbeat fashion.
