"K.K. House" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It has a driving four-on-the-floor beat and prominent bassline, which support a fast, upbeat tune with many minor scale notes, although it is a major scale song. It is based on the house genre, which originated in the '80s as clubs in Chicago would modify disco tracks with electronic drum tracks and thicker basslines. Specifically, it appears to derive from French house, a sub-genre that emerged in France in the '90s, which is characterized by thick harmonies and aspects borrowed from Euro disco. The aircheck characterizes this through its prominent use of piano chords alongside its electronic drums and bass.
