Hometown Day, known in-game as <Town Name> Day, is an event in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It occurs on a day in July that is randomly chosen upon town generation,[nb 3] and it is a celebration of the uniqueness of the player's town. During the event, Tortimer appears near the wishing well and gives the player a random one of 15 Station Models when spoken to.

In Doubutsu no Mori+, Hometown Day occurs on February 11, coinciding with National Foundation Day in Japan.
