The Golden Series is a furniture series that first appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, though the furniture involved debuted in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Much of the Golden Series is composed of shiny golden furniture. Prior to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all items incorporate intricately-carved designs bearing Aztec influence. However, after the series' redesign in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, only a portion of the items retain their Aztec influence, with the other items being golden variants of gears, Japanese-themed items, and common household objects, along with gold bars.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Ganon owns two items from the Golden Series and is the only villager to own items from it.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Knox owns eight items, Ankha owns six items, Boris owns four items, Diva owns three items, Elvis owns three items, Gala owns one item, and Pango owns one item from the Golden Series.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, the Golden Series is not classified as a furniture series in-game, but the full series of twelve items were distributed as DLC in 2011.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the items are crafted by the player with gold nuggets and usually another piece of furniture or interior item. Although the golden wand is also unlocked by crafting with Golden Nuggets and shares the "golden" name, it is not considered part of the Golden Series.
