The elegant sofa is a customizable houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. It is part of the Elegant Series. The player is able to sit on this item.

The elegant sofa can be obtained from either Nook's Cranny for  44,000 Bells or the Paradise Planning office for  39,600 Poki. The item's fabric pattern can be customized either by using 7 customization kits or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  5,200 Bells. When customizing the item's fabric pattern, the player can use one of Sable's patterns or their own custom designs. The item's frame can only be customized by Cyrus.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Mineru. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Anabelle, Baabara, Celia, Chops, Del, Elise, Elvis, Gala, Grizzly, Huck, Ione, Knox, Maelle, Monique, Monty, Muffy, Nan, Pancetti, Reneigh, Rhonda, Robin, Rowan, Tiffany, Whitney, and Zell. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the apparel shop.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Anabelle, Celia, Huck, and Tiffany require this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home. This item is also required as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the café, as one of the chairs for the waiting area at the hospital, as one of the chairs for the dining hall at the restaurant, and as one of the chairs for the classroom at the school.

After unlocking this item in Happy Home Paradise, the item can be purchased from Wardell's catalog.
