The sleeping bag is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The player is able to lie down on this item. If inside the player's house, the player can use the sleeping bag to enter a dream island by laying down and choosing to go to sleep. As an outdoor item, it will provide an additional 0.5 development points towards the island rating.

The sleeping bag can be obtained from either Timmy at the Resident Services Tent before building Nook's Cranny, or from Nook's Cranny once it has been opened for  1,400 Bells. The item's color can be customized by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Barold, Beau, Cobb, Curt, Flora, Grizzly, Hans, Hugh, Prince, Rex, Rolf, and Spork. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. It also appears in the two starting villagers' tents (and may carry over to their initial houses), and in the campsite when occupied.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Ace, Ankha, Apollo, Avery, Camofrog, Cesar, Curly, Curt, Erik, Frank, Graham, Henry, Kid Cat, Leopold, Lucky, Mac, Maple, Merry, Phil, Rex, Rocco, Rolf, Sly, Static, Vladimir, and Walker.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Camofrog, Mac, Rex, and Rolf require this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home.

After unlocking this item in Happy Home Paradise, the item can be purchased from Wardell's catalog for  1,300 Poki.
