"Marine Song 2001" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is based on the tune of Kapp'n's Song in Doubutsu no Mori+, which was altered in all localized versions of Animal Crossing to a tune based more on western sea shanties. The number "2001" in the song's title alludes to the year that Doubutsu no Mori+ was released. The melody uses Kapp'n's vocals with newly added drums and shamisen backing. "Marine Song 2001" and "K.K. Robot Synth" are the only K.K. Slider aircheck songs that feature Animalese vocals.
