Note many characters who aren't really in a certain game may still have names in the code.

Designations in New Leaf are the same in Happy Home Designer and Pocket Camp, so for simplicity one column is used.

Because some characters have multiple codes depending on their outfit, the table uses their "default" or "normal" version. Further versions are documented below it.

Characters with multiple models

Some characters have multiple models in the same game, so the last letter (usually) is changed. In New Leaf and Happy Home Designer there is also another model using the same three letter code as the normal one suffixed with _h, for when the character is at home/their RV. The exceptions are is Timmy/Tommy and Resetti, see below. In New Horizons, all characters use the same model and clothes are applied separately, so their default name is the only one ever used.

Notes

Leftover IDs

• Cornimer has Town Tune sound data under "dnk" in City Folk, probably carried over from Wild World.
• Kaitlin's Town Tune sound data in City Folk is misspelled as "mun" instead of "mum".
• In City Folk, Tortimer and the Resettis apparently have sound data for their alternate costumes.
• Models for Frillard and Tom Nook's apron outfit are present in New Leaf's files, but are duplicates of Isabelle's. These were removed in Welcome amiibo.
• Giovanni, Carlo, and Beppe all have Town Tune sound data in Welcome amiibo despite not appearing until Pocket Camp. Giovanni also has a dummy duplicate model of Isabelle.
