The Small Bass is a freshwater fish in the Animal Crossing series introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. It is a member of the Bass family along with the Bass and the Large Bass.

Donating to the museum
Like all fish and bugs in the Animal Crossing series, the Small Bass can be donated to the museum by talking to Blathers, the curator. He will tell the player some information about it when it is donated.

The small bass, or smallmouth bass, is a freshwater fish that is actually in the black bass family. These fish vary in size, shape, and color depending on their habitats. Small bass are stocked in rivers and lakes because they are a popular game fish. Despite their small size, these fish are considered one of the toughest to fight reeling in.
