Tybalt is a jock, tiger villager from the Animal Crossing series, who appears from Doubutsu no Mori until Doubutsu no Mori e+, after which he would not appear again until Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, being mostly replaced by Rowan, another tiger who was given the jock personality in Animal Crossing: Wild World. The name Tybalt is most likely taken from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, being named after the character of the same name. This is especially considering that another character in the play makes a scene of nicknaming Tybalt the "King of Cats", which in itself is a reference to Tybalt/Tibert the Cat from the story of Reynard the Fox.
Characteristics
Appearance
Tybalt is a yellow tiger with brown stripes and pink inside of his ears. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, brown rings are added around his eyes. He has thick, black eyebrows that are shown in a frowning manner, giving the impression that he is a cranky villager when first seen. However, this may simply be to show determination, a common trait in jock villagers. His initial clothing is the Two Ball Shirt.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Tybalt has a jock personality, meaning he will talk mostly about sports and exercising. Because of this obsession, Tybalt will offer challenges for the player, and will otherwise be kind and forgiving most of the time. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he also uses stereotypical jock words like "bro" (As in, "I'm so pumped, bro!"), "man", and other words. He gets along well with peppy, normal, and other jock villagers, but will often conflict with lazy villagers, due to opposing lifestyles. He will also be the annoyance of cranky and snooty villagers, the latter of whom he criticizes on their appearance.
House
Tybalt's house in Animal Crossing contains the whole Construction theme, including the wallpaper and flooring. He also has three gyroids. He does not have a stereo, and therefore plays no music.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Tybalt's house/RV has a sports theme, which references his jock personality. There's a soccer ball, a baseball bat and a couple scooters. K.K. Salsa will play if there's a stereo in his house.
