Yodel (ヨーデル) is a lazy gorilla islander. He only appeared in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+, two of which are Japanese-exclusive. His name and catchphrase, which is "odelay", refer to yodeling.

Appearance

Yodel is a grey gorilla who appears to dress as a warm-clothed hiker, which is also where his name "Yodel" originated from, for yodel is usually what is thought hikers would do up on the mountain peaks. His head, belly, arms and legs are all white and he wears a warm winter hat. He initially wears the Blue Aloha Shirt.

In Animal Crossing, Yodel's house has an island look.

Fruit allergy

As an islander, Yodel has a favorite fruit and a fruit that he is allergic to. Feeding him cherries will reduce the likelihood of him dropping money bags, and Yodel's favorite food is apples.
