Trophies

Name Image Description
Able Sisters Able Sisters SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
Able Sisters SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Able Sisters is a clothing and tailoring shop run by three completely different sisters. The oldest, Sable, quietly sews in the corner. The middle child, Labelle, sells accessories, and the youngest, Mabel, greets customers cheerfully. They fought in the past but have put that behind them!

PAL: The three Able sisters are like chalk and cheese...and thread, but running a clothes shop makes good use of their strengths: Sable works quietly at the sewing machine, Labelle sells accessories, and the cheerful Mabel welcomes people in. Despite their quirks, they get along well...usually.
Beehive Beehive SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
Beehive SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: An example of fine architecture constructed by insects, these bees are not shy about defending their hard work. Throw this at an enemy to direct their hate at that player. If the bees are after you, you can shake them for a while with some evasive maneuvers, but they'll track you down.

PAL: Bees don't like it when people destroy their home, so if you break a beehive, they'll come out looking for revenge. Even if you innocently had the beehive thrown at you, you'll be the target. You can dodge all you want, but they'll probably get you in the end, and their stings'll do a LOT of damage.
Blanca Blanca SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
Her smooth face is just like...well, a blank canvas! She used to let people give her a face by drawing on her, but in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she uses her peculiar face to trick everyone on April Fools' Day. Only a master of disguise like her could mimic other people so convincingly!
Blathers 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Blathers knows all there is to know about fossils, which is probably why he is in charge of the town museum. He also knows about fish and art, but he seems a bit squeamish when it comes to bugs. It has something to do with childhood trauma. Regardless, if you pop by during the day, you'll catch him napping.

PAL: Blathers is the perfect owl to be in charge of the town museum. He knows all there is to know about fossils, fish, and art, but he's a little squeamish when it comes to bugs. Probably had a bad experience back when he was an owlet... Anyway, pop over to the museum during the day to catch him "resting his eyes".
Brewster Brewster SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: If you stop in the Roost, you'll spot Brewster behind the counter, ready to serve you a cup of his original blend. You know you're a regular when Brewster becomes slightly more talkative. Never too aloof, never too familiar, he's as comfy to have around as a pigeon-milk latte.

PAL: Stop in at the Roost to see Brewster behind the counter, ready to serve you a cup of his original blend. You know you've become a regular when he starts being a bit more chatty. He's never too aloof, never too "in your face" - he's just nice to be around whenever you feel like having a pigeon-milk latte.
Bus to the City 80px
(Wii U)
The bus that takes you into the city in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It's free 24/7 and driven by a certain someone you might recognize (you might have also seen him driving a boat or a taxi). Take the bus anytime to see places like the theatre and the art gallery, and try visiting at night to see some places that are usually closed.
Celeste 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Celeste works in the town museum, where you can find her dozing during the day. You can't really be mad about that, though- she is an owl, after all. Most residents will let her sleep, knowing that she'll wake up promptly if she's needed. What could she be dreaming about?

PAL: Go to the town museum during the day to see Celeste working there. Working...and snoozing. You can't really blame her, though - she is an owl! If you ever need her help with something, just talk to her and she'll wake right up. If you don't need her help, though, maybe you should be nice and let her keep dreaming!
Chip 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: For some people, fishing is all about the journey, not the destination. For this beaver, it's all about the destination... because the destination means dinner! If you take him a big fish, he'll congratulate you. Then he'll gobble it down like he hasn't eaten in days. It's...erm...quite a sight.

PAL: For some people, fishing is all about "catch and release". For this beaver, it's more like "measure and eat". Bring him a big fish and he'll congratulate you and tell you just how big it is. In return, he asks to keep your fish. No need to slice, fry or grill it. He'll just gobble it down whole. It's, er...quite the sight.
Cooper & Booker 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you decide which police officer you'll have in your town based on the type of police station you put up. Will you build the modern police station and hire the brisk, professional Copper? Or perhaps the classic police station and the quiet, nervous Booker?

PAL: In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you decide which police officer you'll have in your town based on the type of police station you put up. Will you build the modern police station and hire the brisk, professional Copper, or do you prefer the classic police station and Copper's quiet, nervous partner, Booker? It's all up to you - it's your town, after all!
Digby 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Isabelle's twin brother, Digby, works at the Happy Home Showcase, but if he needs a quick break, he'll head down to the Roost for a cup of coffee. He takes Blue Mountain, black, no sugar, whereas his sister likes her coffee with a lot of milk and three sugars. For some reason, an order that doesn't include "a lot of milk" sounds more mature.

PAL: Isabelle's twin brother Digby works at the Happy Home Showcase, but if he needs a quick break, he'll head down to the Roost for a cup of coffee. He takes Blue Mountain, black, no sugar, whereas his sister likes her coffee with a lot of milk and three sugars. Funny how something as simple as a coffee order can make you sound more mature...
DJ KK 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: "Yo yo yo! Come rock out at Club LOL! Featuring DJ KK every night of the week (except Saturdays)! Listen to the singer- songwriter bust out a foot-stompin' mix of tunes! Don't forget to come on your birthday for a special treat!" ...That advertisement definitely catches the eye.

PAL:  "Get down at Club LOL! DJ KK is IN da HOUSE, spinning a NON-STOP mix of the best beats EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!*
*(Except Saturdays.)
A Special TREAT for birthday VIPs!
What an ad! So many capital letters…
Don (NTSC-U)
Don Resetti (PAL)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Don and Sonny Resetti run the Reset Surveillance Center. They keep a careful eye out for players who might be resetting their games without saving. As Don likes to say, "Resettin' ain't good. So don't do it!" If Sonny is the brother who catches you, you'll hear a lot more than that!

PAL: This chap runs the Reset Surveillance Center with his brother, the fabled scolder Mr. Resetti (first name: Sonny). Their job is to warn players who switch off without saving. Don's gentle about it, though. He'll say stuff like, "Resettin' ain't no good. So, um, don't do it!" If you get caught resetting, just hope it's Don's face you see.
Dr. Shrunk Dr. Shrunk SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Dr. Shrunk definitely has a...unique look about him. As the owner of Club LOL, a new entertainment venue, he isn't shy about taking the stage. It's too bad his jokes don't always fly. If you want a taste of his humor, take him some treats before the show starts!

PAL: Dr. Shrunk used to be a comedian, and he looks the part. He doesn't do just any old jokes, though - he does Reaction Jokes, which are, erm...even funnier! Visit Club LOL before it opens and give him a yummy present to get a does of comedy, Shrunk style.
Dream House (NTSC-U)
Housewarming Party (PAL)
Dream Home SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: If you're wanting to buy a house in Animal Crossing, Tom Nook is always happy to help. And it looks like he's expanding his business to Smash Bros, too. If you activate the Villager's Final Smash, Nook will rush in and build a house for you right then and there! One small, very minor difference between this house and ones in the original game? This one explodes.

PAL:
Franklin 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: The Harvest Festival, understandably, makes Franklin a little nervous. But in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he's been invited to cook for everyone. He seems to need help gathering ingredients... Could you spare some time to help? Just to be clear, he isn't one of the ingredients!

PAL: Harvest Festivals understandably make Franklin nervous, but in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he's been invited to cook for everyone. Maybe you'd consider helping him gather the ingredients he needs? For the record, though, Franklin is not on the menu.
Frillard 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Ready for a real thrill? Frillard is getting up there in years and doesn't appear on stage all that often, but if you're lucky enough to catch one of his shows, you're in for a real treat! Frillard will spread that frill and show you emotion in motion. Dr. Shrunk is a student of his, but that frill gag is one only the master can do.

PAL: Ready for a thrill? Frillard's getting on a bit, so he doesn't appear in the theatre very often. If you're lucky enough to catch one of his shows, watch him spread that frill of his and prepare to see emotion in motion! Hard as his student Dr. Shrunk may try, that gag where he spreads his frill is one that only the master can pull off.
Gracie 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Gracie is a celebrity fashion designer who is really pretty critical of others. She'll happily let you know if your current look is hip or hippy, if you ask her. Aside from style reviews, she also runs her own little boutique, which she feels is a sanctuary from all the awful style choices.

PAL: Gracie is a celebrity fashion designer and can be pretty blunt about what she thinks of other people's clothes. Want to know whether your outfit is hip or hippy? Then go and see her for one of her famous "fashion checks"! Gracie also runs her own little boutique, which she sees as a sanctuary from all the awful style choices.
Grams 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: The eldest turtle on the tropical island, Grams runs the souvenir counter. She'll trade you island-themed goods in exchange for the medals you earned during tours. Among the things she sells are flower-patterned muumuus, but Leila thinks they look best on Grams.

PAL: Want ocean-themed souvenirs? Look no further than the shop on Tortimer Island! They don't even cost a single Bell - Grams only takes medals. You might be tempted by the adorable muumuus on sale, but no one could look better in one than Grams herself. At least, that's what her granddaughter, Leila, thinks.
Gulliver 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Gulliver is a seagull who is not the best sailor, despite dressing the part. You can usually find him shipwrecked on the beach with a bad case of the forgets. If you help him remember where he was headed, he'll set on his travels once more. In time, you'll get a thank-you souvenir!

PAL: While sailing the seven seas, Gulliver often finds himself in the most dramatic and totally manly situations that end with him washing up on a beach with just the teeeensiest bit of amnesia. If you can help him remember where he was off to, he'll get right back to his travels and even send you a local souvenir as a thank-you!
Harriet 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Sometimes the only thing you need to turn your day around is a nice haircut. If you visit Shampoodle, Harriet will quiz you a bit and, before you can say "sugar," you'll have a brand-new, perfect hairstyle. In Animal Crossing: City Folk, she offers a makeover that leaves you looking like a Mii!

PAL: If you want a haircut that'll make you feel brand new, pay a visit to Harriet's salon. Shampoodle. She'll ask you a few quick questions, and before you can say "sugar", you'll have the hairdo of your dreams. And since Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City, she's also been able to give special makeovers that leave you looking like a Mii!
Isabelle Isabelle SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Isabelle is the mayor's highly capable secretary. She can be forgetful sometimes, but you can always count on her for information about the town. She wears her hair up in a bun that makes her look like a shih tzu. Mostly because she is one! She also has a twin brother named Digby.

PAL: Isabelle's the mayor's secretary, and you couldn't ask for someone more on the ball! Well...maybe you could, but she's still full of useful info about life in the town. With her fringe and tied-up hair, she looks just like a shih-tzu! That's because she is one. And so is her twin brother, Digby.
Isabelle (Winter Outfit) (NTSC-U)
Isabelle (Sweater) (PAL)
80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: The green check she wears in warmer months suits her perfectly, but when the cold hits, her mustard-yellow cardigan is just too stylish for words. It may make you long for the spring months, though. Hot or cold—nothing makes Isabelle feel under the weather!

PAL: The green chequered vest she wears in warmer months suits her to a T, but when the cold hits, her mustard-yellow cardie is just too stylish for words. That said, it might make you long for spring and all its vibrant beauty! Of course, Isabelle doesn't mind. Hot or cold, she's always a ray of sunshine!
Jack 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Jack, the self-proclaimed czar of Halloween, goes around town saying "Trick or treat!" to everyone he meets! In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you can see him earlier in October too. Seems like he's looking for a few loyal subjects. Don't you worry—it's all in good fun!

PAL: Jack, the self-proclaimed czar of Halloween, goes around town saying "Trick or treat!" to everyone he meets! In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you can see him earlier in October too. Seems like he's looking for a few good loyal subjects. Don't worry, pumpkin - he'll have you scaring up a good time!
Jingle 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Happy Toy Day! (If it's not Toy Day, then... happy other-time-of-the-year!) Jingle's a festive reindeer who stops by once a year. If you happen to be dressed as Santa and have a bit of free time on your hands, why not help him out? Just imagine the looks on your neighbors' faces when they get a present personally delivered by Santa!

If you take the plunge, you'll want to check the prices often. It doesn't hurt to ask your friends about their prices too.

Kapp'n 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: This turtle ferries you out to the tropical island. In the past he's been seen driving a taxi and a bus, and now he's the captain of a little boat. Or maybe he just wanted to sing his songs— it's only right to be sailing while singing sea shanties, after all!

PAL: Kapp'n is a man of many talents: taxi driver, bus driver, and now sailor of the boat that takes tourists to Tortimer Island. He loves taking people places, no matter what the method, but now he's back to his roots. You might assume that his favourite letter is the letters arrr, but you'd be wrong: his one true love is the C.
Katie 80px
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: After playing with a friend, you may spot a crying, lost little kitten in your town. Thankfully, she knows where her mommy should be waiting. If you offer to take her there, she'll do her best to follow behind. You'll help out this poor kitten, won't you?

PAL: Hello, chum! This friendly shoe shop owner used to shine shoes in the city, but now he's managed to save up enough money for his own little shop in town. His outfit might make him look like he sweeps chimneys for a living, but don't worry - you definitely won't find any soot on his wares, awright?
Leif 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Although he's a sloth, there's nothing lazy about Leif. He works hard to sell seeds, saplings, and gardening supplies, all while fighting the temptation to dangle from his plants. I wonder if Leif knows how much all his hard work brightens the days of those around him...

PAL: Sloth he may be, but he's not one to just lounge around! He sells seeds, saplings and other gardening supplies - all with a big smile. He doesn't even give in to the urge to hang from the plants he sells. Flowers really cheer him up, but his smile cheers everyone else up a whole lot more!
Leilani 80px
(3DS)
NTSC-U: If you've had your fill of tropical- island adventures, Kapp'n's wife, Leilani, can arrange your trip home. She'll also happily sign you up for island tours. Her green skin isn't typical for tropical islanders, and that red hibiscus in her hair really suits her.

PAL: Leilani runs the information desk on Tortimer Island. If you want to play some minigames, she'll find the perfect tropical tour for you. Afterwards, she'll even call her husband, Kapp'n, to take you home again! To be honest, though, she's always a little surprised anybody would want to leave Tortimer Island at all.
Leila 80px

Her prices are much lower than the recycling shop, and her parents hope that the smiling faces of customers will ease her loneliness. Her dad is Kapp'n, and her mom is Leilani.

PAL: Leila just loves to play supermarket. You can even play along and sell her things you got on the island - except the tools you've borrowed, of course! PAL: The philosophical wisdom of Pascal comes in all shapes and sizes. Some of his musings will leave you mildly puzzled: "You ever tried to play an oboe underwater, maaan? It ain't easy." Others will leave you flat-out baffled: "You can't fool physics, maaan. That guy knows EVERYTHING!" Give him a scallop and see what he says!
Pavé Pavé SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png

Pete Pete SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Delivering the mail keeps Pete very busy. He takes great pride in his work, and he sometimes looks like he's in need of sleep. That isn't because he's working too hard— thinking about his crush on Phyllis keeps him up at night! He doesn't let that stop him from getting to work early, though.

PAL: You might bump into Pete every now and then while he's out delivering post. He takes pride in his work and gets up bright and early every day. Sadly, he's got a terrible illness that keeps him up at night. Yep...he's incurably lovesick. Poor Pete just can't stop thinking about Phyllis from the post office!
Phineas Phineas SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png

PAL: The pelican sisters both work at the Post Office. Phyllis (the one with all the make-up on) handles the night shifts, and Pelly takes care of things during the day. Pelly fancies the delivery boy, Pete, but he actually has feelings for Phyllis. Awkwaaarrrd! At least they never let the drama distract them from doing their jobs!

Pitfall SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: You can plant this in the ground as a trap against your enemies. If they set it off, they'll be rooted in place and at your mercy. If opponents are spending too much time in the air, throwing this at them can send them meteoring down to the ground—or better yet, right off the stage!

PAL: Bury this item anywhere you like, then wait for an unsuspecting fighter to step on it. They'll drop into a hole and be stuck there, giving you the chance to practise your best smashes on them. If that's not for you, try hitting your opponent with it in mid-air for a devastating meteor smash!
Porter Porter SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png
(3DS)
NTSC-U: Some monkeys prefer the monkey bars, but not Porter—his passion is the train station where he works, and he'll make sure you get to where you're going. He can be a little intense sometimes, but he's a decent guy. Oh, and don't worry—you'll get no monkey business from him.

PAL: Forget monkey bars - this monkey knows a better way to get around! Working at the train station in his cute little uniform, he'll make sure you get where you're going. He might flip out sometimes, but he's a decent guy. And don't worry - you'll never catch him monkeying around on the job!
Redd 80px

(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Redd runs an art gallery...of sorts. He'll try to smooth-talk you into buying his items, but be careful! Occasionally some counterfeit items slip in among the real ones. And by "sometimes" I mean "always." Brushing up on your art history may help you spot the real deal!

PAL: The owner of a gallery selling fine art. He tends to butter up his customers, telling them whatever they look at is an amazing find. But beware! Sometimes fakes get mixed in with the genuine masterpieces. Whether he's aware of it or not, Redd is running one shady operation.
Reesee & Cyrus Reese & Cyrus SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png

PAL: Their names make them sound like a pair of country singers, but they're actually the proprietors of Re-Tail. Reese deals in second-hand goods, while her husband, Cyrus, customises furniture. They might not do much singing together, but there's definitely harmony between these alpacas.

PAL: Forget to save your game before stopping for the day? "GRRAAAAH!" You're going to hear from Mr. Resetti! He and his brother, Don, keep an eye out for reckless resetting and give you a, er...gentle reminder not to. Tempted to "forget" so you can meet them again? Don't. Just don't.

NTSC-U: This kitty is very outgoing, always looking to meet and learn about new people. He'll ask you all sorts of questions the first time you meet. Hopefully you don't respond with random nonsense, since you'll be stuck with your answers. Who wants to live in a town called "AAAAAAA," anyway?

PAL: Always thrilled to meet new people on the move, he'll ask you your name and where you're moving to. Don't just answer with random nonsense, though. After all, you'll be stuck with the answers you give, and who wants to live in a town called "AAAAAAAA"?!
Saharah Saharah SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Traveling from a faraway land comes the wandering salescamel, Saharah. She's got wallpaper to paper your walls with and carpets to pet your cars with. That's kind of odd, actually... Maybe it's a tradition where she comes from? Either way, she brings many unique things with her when she visits.

PAL: A trader from a faraway land who's big on interior design. She doesn't have her own store, instead carrying her wares around as a travelling merchant - it's hard to tell where you'll find her next! She claims to have many wallpapers for the papering of walls, and carpets for the...petting of cars? Nobody's quite sure if she's being serious.
Serena Serena SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png

NTSC-U: If you throw an axe into the fountain, POOF, Serena appears. Ever hear that "Honesty is the best policy"? Well, with Serena, that's not always the case. PAL: When it snows, keep an eye out for a pair of snowballs on the ground. Roll them and roll them and roll them, and then put them together to make...a snowperson! It could be a Snowman, a Snowmam, a Snowboy or a Snowtyke. Each brings their own unique variety of wintery wonder!

NTSC-U: These twin brothers operate the Nookling stores. Thanks to Tom Nook's teachings, they are just as talented as he is and run Nookling Junction with such success that it can expand several times. Despite their success, they never forget the core value of good customer service.

PAL: These twin brothers start off with the little shop Nookling Junction, but they seem to have learned a little something from Tom Nook, and it doesn't take long before the T&T Emporium is open for business! (So fancy.) But no matter how big and impressive their shops get, they've still got a lot to learn...

(3DS)
NTSC-U: A former mayor who is living out his retirement on a tropical island. He's not a hermit, though, and absolutely loves spending time with anyone who goes to visit his tropical paradise. Everyone could learn from his generous spirit. And that aloha shirt looks great!

PAL: Many cultures around the world see the tortoise as a symbol of great age and wisdom, and Tortimer embodies both in spades. A former town mayor, he now lives a slightly quieter life organising island tours and giving out medals. The Hawaiian shirt definitely wasn't part of his mayoral attire.
Tortimer Island Tortimer Island SSB4 Trophy (3DS).png

NTSC-U: Take a ride on Kapp'n's boat to reach this tropical island, home to fish, insects, and fruit you can't find anywhere else. Tortimer's tours are also available here. Eat the fruit on this stage to reduce your damage, but keep an eye out for the occasional bomb in the mix too!

PAL: A tropical island where you'll find fish, insects and fruit that you can't get in your own town. To reach it, just take a ride on Kapp'n's boat. NTSC-U: Get a bird's-eye view of the town and city from Animal Crossing: City Folk as you fight on a platform overhead. Your Wii U console's clock dictates the time of day and which animals and places appear. Don't get too distracted by all that, though, because the platform itself is pretty simple-perfect for a battle of skill!

The Villager sets out to answer that age-old question: If a tree falls on the battlefield and foes are beneath it, do they get launched?

PAL: This chipper chap came all the way from his quiet little village to do a bit of aerial sightseeing, take Lloid out for a spin, look after the trees and maybe do some bowling. If you're very lucky, he might even bring along Tom Nook and the Nooklings and throw everyone a party. Gosh, this all sounds like such fun!

NTSC-U: Just a normal girl living a normal life in a normal town—her special moves, however, are anything but. She can pocket items, projectiles, and even beams, and then pull them out at a moment's notice. Her down special lets her plant a tree, water it, and chop it down. If she leaves the tree standing, she can use the axe against foes.

PAL: This girl's special moves are very special indeed. The standard one lets you pocket items, projectiles and even laser beams, then use them by pressing the button again. Her down special plants a tree, which you can water and finally chop down to hurt other fighters. Or you can leave the tree alone and attack with the axe. Up to you.
Wendell Wendell SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Wendell is a wandering artist with a healthy appetite. He may be a walrus, but his tastes extend well beyond fish! In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he only appears in dreams when the player uses the Dream Suite. He doesn't seem to be too hungry, but it is a dream- he's probably happily eating in the waking world!

PAL: A travelling artist with a big appetite. Since he's a walrus, you might think he'd only eat fish, but he'll also gobble up fruit, nuts and...pretty much anything. You could say he's a fan of the "sea food diet". In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, he only appears in dreams, when you visit the Dream Suite. At least then he's not too hungry!
Wisp Wisp SSB4 Trophy (Wii U).png
(Wii U)
NTSC-U: Cute li'l Wisp is first met when he shyly asks for your help in collecting five spirits before the sun rises. Who would have thought the simple bug net would be able to catch them? Cool! When you next meet him, in Animal Crossing: City Folk, he becomes a lamp spirit that's scared of ghosts. Don't judge him! Ghosts are scary!

PAL: When cute lil Wisp shows up in the first Animal Crossing, he shyly asks players to help him collect five spirits before dawn. Surprisingly, you can just use any old bug net for the job! In Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City, he appears as a lamp spirit with a fear of ghosts. Odd thing for a spirit to be scared of, don't you think?
