The sea bass (スズキ, Suzuki) is a saltwater fish in the Animal Crossing series introduced in Animal Crossing. Throughout the Animal Crossing series, the sea bass is known for being an extremely common fish, as noted by the player in its catch quotes in Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf, due to it being available all day and all year long.
Catch details[edit]
In Animal Crossing[edit]
In Animal Crossing, the sea bass is not scheduled to appear between mid-August and mid-September. During the first ten days of September, only red snappers, barred knifejaws and, during rain, coelacanths will appear in the sea. This allows the player to earn large amounts of Bells in a short time. The sea bass will gradually start to reappear from September 11 due to the transitional period between new months in this game.
In Wild World[edit]
The sea bass also appears as a default item in Walker's house.
In City Folk[edit]
In New Leaf[edit]
In New Leaf, the sea bass is used in the Soup de Poisson and Sea Bass Sauté recipes for the Harvest Festival.
