Flossie is a peppy mouse islander from the Animal Crossing series, only making an appearance in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. Flossie's name is possibly derived from "flower" or "floral", referring to the flower in her hair, or it may be derived from "floss", referring to her buck teeth. Her catchphrase, "meep", is a word used for a small squeaking sound, usually when a small animal is frightened. Her e-Reader card erroneously states her catchphrase as "squeaker", however.

Appearance

Flossie is an orange mouse with straight, brown hair and a blue daisy to the right of the top of her head. She has buck teeth, which has a small resemblance to her name. She wears a Red Aloha Shirt, like all female islanders.

Personality

Flossie has a peppy personality, meaning she will appear positive and energetic. With this attitude, Flossie is easy to befriend and talk with, though she will be angered if the player says or does the wrong thing to her. However, she will immediately forget about it due to a short attention span. Flossie gets along well with nearly all other villagers, with the exception of cranky and snooty villagers, who are more mature than other villagers. While in conversation, she may insult them by calling them "old" or "boring".

Fruit Allergy

As an islander, she has a favorite fruit and a fruit that she is allergic to. Feeding her the allergy fruit will reduce the likelihood of her dropping money bags. Flossie is allergic to oranges and loves apples.

House

In Animal Crossing, Flossie's house initially lacks any furniture, similar to all other islander houses. She will request a Turntable, a Lovely Kitchen, a Green Table, a Green Bench, a Green Counter, a Refrigerator, a Stove, and a Coconut Palm from the player, plus the Kitchen Flooring and Kitchen Wall.
