Coco (やよい, Yayoi) is a normal rabbit villager from the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every game so far.

Her Japanese name comes from the historical era known as the Yayoi period during which small clay figures known as haniwa were produced. Like the Gyroids, these haniwa figures are what Coco's appearance is based on. As this would be unfamiliar to most players outside Japan, her English name instead comes from "coconut", which she also resembles.

Appearance

Coco is a tan, clay-like rabbit with hollow eyes and mouth, similar in appearance to a Gyroid. There seems to be a seam or fold around the top of her head. Her face is always expressionless, regardless of her emotions. Her initial clothing was originally a Misty Shirt, but has been a Dawn Shirt since Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Coco is a normal villager. She wakes up early at 5 a.m.. She does not seem to get along with snooty or cranky villagers as much, but is very kind in ways. She is very kind and generally gets along with other normal and peppy villagers. She has an unseen friend called Moppina.

Coco's home in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In Animal Crossing Coco has the Exotic Bench, Garden Pond, Dark Stone, Garden Stone, Mossy Stone from the Rock Garden Theme, Saddle Fence, Well, and two Western Fences from the Western Theme Lastly she has Paper Parasol, and four gyroids. Mega Gongoid, Mini Lamentoid, Mega Lamentoid and Tall Lamentoid. Her wallpaper and flooring are the Garden Wall and Sandlot which are obtainable from Wendell and Saharah.
