Coco (やよい, Yayoi) is a normal, rabbit villager from the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every game so far. Her name probably came from "coconut", a fruit sometimes known to have three holes. Her Japanese name comes from the historical era known as the Yayoi Period. During this time, small figures known as Haniwa were produced, which is what Coco and the gyroids take their appearance from. She could have been based off of a gyroid; she displays a number of gyroids in her house.

Appearance

Coco is a rabbit villager with hollow eyes, like Nindori's, and a mouth which also appears to be hollow. Her vacant face resembles a coconut in appearance, which is possibly why her name is Coco. Her face also resembles that of a player in the first Animal Crossing game that was unfortunate enough to have not saved their game while visiting another player's village. The lack of expression is reflected in her picture quote. She is a light chocolate to coconut brown. Her initial shirt is the Misty Shirt in Animal Crossing and the Dawn Shirt in Animal Crossing: Wild World onward. She gets angry when you lie to her, but cannot show any emotion through her eyes or mouth. Some also think that her face looks like a gyroid.

Coco is a normal villager. She wakes up early at 5 a.m.. She does not seem to get along with snooty or cranky villagers as much, but is very kind in ways. She is very kind and generally gets along with other normal and peppy villagers. She has an unseen friend called Moppina.

Coco's home in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In Animal Crossing Coco has the Exotic Bench, Garden Pond, Dark Stone, Garden Stone, Mossy Stone from the Rock Garden Theme, Saddle Fence, Well, and two Western Fences from the Western Theme Lastly she has Paper Parasol, and four gyroids. Mega Gongoid, Mini Lamentoid, Mega Lamentoid and Tall Lamentoid. Her wallpaper and flooring are the Garden Wall and Sandlot which are obtainable from Wendell and Saharah.
