Pigleg is a jock pig islander from the Animal Crossing series, only appearing in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. His name comes from the two words "pig", which is his species, and "leg", which comes from pirates sometimes having a peg leg. His Japanese name is a corruption of "buchikome", meaning to be impaired, which references his injured appearance.
