Eloise is a snooty elephant villager in the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every Animal Crossing series game to date. Her name is derived from the first part of "elephant," her species, and the French given name "Éloïse."

In New Horizons, Eloise has the fashion hobby and will be more frequently seen visiting Able Sisters and commenting on the player's fashion, sometimes giving them clothes that match their current outfit in color or style. She may be found carrying around a purse or wearing accessories and clothing different from their initial or gifted outfits.

Appearance

Eloise is a yellow elephant. She has big, black eyes with a tiny white spot in them. She has a tuft of brown hair on her forehead. The insides of her ears, as well as the top of her trunk, are a dark green color. She has a little smile. Due to her lack of make-up, a common feature of most snooty villagers, she may be mistaken for a normal or even a peppy villager.

Eloise is a snooty villager. She initially acts pushy and hostile towards other villagers and the player. She will act mildly polite towards the player, but will sometimes come out with arrogant, rude comments without intention. She may tell the player that she wanted to become an actress, but was not courageous enough. After befriending her, she will act noticeably kinder toward the player, even far enough to be mistaken for a peppy villager. She is gossip-hungry, as is typical in the snooty personality.
