Sylvia is a kangaroo villager from the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori e+ as a snooty villager and then reappeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf as a sisterly villager. Additionally, she is the only sisterly kangaroo. Her initial catchphrase refers to the sound of hopping, which is a kangaroo's main method of locomotion.

Sylvia is a purple kangaroo with orange hair. She has pink spots on her cheeks, her feet and the bottom half of her tail are white, and her hands are tipped gray with white wrists.

In Doubutsu no Mori e+, Sylvia has a snooty personality, which means she will love make-up and gossiping. As a snooty villager, she will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities. Sylvia's special talent is playing jacks.

Starting with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Sylvia has the sisterly personality, which means she will act like a tomboy and a big sister to the other villagers.
