Stella is a normal, sheep villager from the Animal Crossing series. Her name comes from the Latin word stella, meaning star.
Characteristics
Appearance
In Doubutsu no Mori
In Doubutsu no Mori, Stella is a pink sheep with a black nose, orange blush, and pink wool. She appears to be frowning, due to her mouth meeting at her nose, and may be mistaken for a snooty villager with this appearance. (This is likely the reason why she was redesigned in Animal Crossing.)
In Animal Crossing onwards
In Animal Crossing, Stella is redesigned as a pale sheep with a purple wool coat. Her eyes are closed and she has a small smile. She also has pink blush. Additionally, she bears a strong resemblance to Wendy, another sheep villager introduced in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Stella has a normal personality, making her sweet and kind. She will rarely get mad and will appear motherly toward the player and other villagers, most notably lazy and peppy villagers. However, she may be angered by cranky and snooty villagers due to both personalities' tendency to belittle other villagers, or if the wrong things are said to her in conversation. Her appearance also fits in with her personality, appearing to be calm and sweet.

In Animal Crossing, Stella has many instruments in her house including an ivory piano, a metronome, a harp, and a violin. She also has some regal furniture, which are two regal chairs and a regal lamp. There are also two gyroids: a mega Sputnoid and mini Dinkoid; and two paintings: the Moving Painting and Rare Painting. Her carpet is Daisy Meadow and the wallpaper is Meadow Vista, obtainable from Saharah and Wendell, respectively.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Stella's house and RV has a sewing theme, a reference to "acrylic", her Japanese name. It contains various pieces of yarn, clothes, and a sewing machine.
