Ribbot is a jock frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is a portmanteau of the onomatopoeia of a frog noise, "ribbit", and "robot." He is one of the few villagers in the game who are not technically animals, along with Sprocket, Coco, Stitches, Bow, and Meow. He and Lily switched their catchphrases from Wild World until the Pocket Camp 1.8.1 update.
Characteristics
Appearance
Because Ribbot is a robotic frog, he is made entirely of metal. He has several lines on his face where the metal has been bolted together, and his mouth looks like a storage chute which opens outwards. He has headlights that resemble eyes, and occasionally pupils appear inside them while he is talking. He also has the number "59" written in white on the back of his head, which could hint that he is one of many robots of his kind to be made. There is a blue and red stripe of the front of his head, located between his eyes.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
He has a jock personality, which means he will have a keen interest in sport and fitness, making him appear competitive and in some cases rude when talking to other villagers, usually criticizing their fitness. He will also enjoy fossil digging. He will appear slow-witted and absent-minded when talking about deep, meaningful things. He will get along well with the player, appearing friendly and competitive when talking to them. He will get along well with peppy villagers, but get confused by the choice of lifestyle followed by lazy villagers, who appear opposite to the jock personality. He may offend and upset snooty and cranky villagers, by judging their fitness and physique.

Profile: | Most animals don't know what to make of Ribbot. Is he a frog? A machine? If he's a machine, then why does he get muscle cramps? And if he's a frog, than what's with the metal plating? Only Ribbot knows for sure... |
