Stitches is a lazy, cub villager in the Animal Crossing series. He is based on a young child's worn stuffed animal, as indicated by his name and the many patches of fabric making up his body, which also explains his ownership of the Kiddie Series furniture. His phrase is based on the stuffing used in dolls and teddy bears.
Characteristics
Appearance
Stitches is a cub with the appearance of a teddy bear, stitched together with a bright purple forehead and tail, an orange face and body, eyes shaped like + symbols or the letter x, and two ears of different colors. His left ear is blue on the outside and light green inside, and his right ear is dark green on the outside and dark orange inside. His limbs are all colored differently; his left arm is dark green, his right arm is blue, his left leg is dark orange, and his right leg is light green. He has a small, white muzzle with a teddy bear smile and nose, as well as a white stomach which is visible underneath his shirt. In his first appearance, he wears a star shirt, a shirt that is patterned with red, blue, and green stars on top of a creamy white fabric.

As a lazy villager, Stitches will have a laid back lifestyle involving food and relaxing. He will enjoy the usual hobbies such as fishing, catching bugs, and fashion, to name a few. He will appear friendly and hospitable towards the player, appearing to be like a younger brother in behavior - nice and friendly. He will get on well with other villagers; particularly normal, peppy, and other lazy villagers. Sometimes peppy villagers speak to one another of how cute they find him. He may indirectly offend jock, snooty, and cranky villagers, who worry about their physical appearance. Cranky villagers will admire his laid-back lifestyle. Stitches will sometimes mention that this is his first time living away from home.
